AVG warning by Ursa Spell Checker installing

Postby dougiepunk » Thu Dec 06, 2012 11:35 am

After installing Ursa-spelling and restarting Skype, AVG Anti-Virus found a "Trojan Horse Generic_r.OB" in Skype/Phone/riched20.dll. With thee riched.dll file quarantined by AVG, both Skype and Ursa-spelling work just fine.

What is your explanation for this?

Thank you for this information.
This is a strange issue with AVG and we are trying to solve it.
Of course Ursa Spell Checker hasn't any Trojan, but AVG identifies some inner procedures as a mechanism similar to Trojan.
No doubt, you can install Ursa Spell Checker without any risk. Neither Ursa Spell Checker itself, nor its installer is infected.

Any news on this problem please?

I'm getting the warning messagebox every time that the program loads.

Ursa still seems to run OK so is it possible to have an option to disable the warning?
